Morning Good Afternoon or Evening wherever you are I'm a Windows 11 User from the Philippines I've recently installed a Windows 11 update "Build 22000.434" or KB5009566 I downloaded it upon boot it asked me to enable the TPM module from the BIOS which I did and the PC booted up normally shortly after I was prompted to put my password in the lock screen after i was met with a rather long "Welcome" followed by my screen turning black with my cursor being the only thing visible I could move my cursor but not much else happened it was just a black screen with a cursor I tried starting :explorer.exe and it didn't work I tried booting into safe mode but only the taskbar was visible non of the icons in the taskbar were however visible I tried doing Win+Ctrl+Shift+B didn't work i tried tweaking the registry making sure "Shell" was set to explorer.exe didn't work either after watching every tutorial loop the same method i gave up and was forced to reset my PC and do a fresh install of Build 22000.434 it worked this time i would like to know why this happened and how to fix the issue if I ever encountered it again. Thanks!

I have seen, in other trouble tickets with Windows 11, that enabling things like TPM and UEFI *after* having installed the OS, can lead to all manner of issues, but I am not certain this is the issue here, only something to consider.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
