Computer not posting

It’s my first time building a pc so I do t know what could be wrong but I plugged my newly built pc the fans spun on and r blinking their lights and the mobo is on but no signal is being broadcasted to the monitor

Also , I'm sorry this is your first build as someone should have recommended you practice on a cheap or free computer first as your first build rather than spending a lot of money before having any experience. I always try to make sure people get that advice.

yep , check that you have plugged in the cpu power cable to the board , it's the 8 pin connector near the top and make sure the cable you used says it's the cpu cable on it and not the pci-e cable. also check the video cards pci-e power cable is plugged in

Both are plugged in correctly

i'm actually reviewing your past posts. how did you solve the issue with installing your cpu as those issues sounded very significant

Change ram slots and replug the CPU, as you could have damaged the socket's pins

Wdym by re plug the cpu, u mean the power cable?

it also might not hurt to check that your monitor is functional when connected to another device on the same input , also check the monitor is set to the right input

Take the CPU out of the socket and put it in again

Monitor works fine

that board should have a red diagnostic leds illuminated if theres a fault the board is able to detect. are only of the red diagnostic leds on the board illuminated?

There is a red led illuminated under the graphics card

I think there is something wrong with the power the fans would pulse on for a sec then off same thing with the red diagnostic led

remove the gpu , does the machine stay powered on without the gpu installed? Also make sure the gpu power cable is installed correctly in the gpu and into the power supply itself.

The same blinking effect happens without the gpu and how would I know if it starts because I can’t plug in the monitor

the pc acted the same without the gpu

that processor should have integrated graphics so try plugging the monitor into the motherboard instead of the gpu and remove the gpu

I tried that same thing happens no signal to the monitor and the fans / lights were pulsing. By the way it’s not just one kind of fan / lights there are multiple different fans and led led lights.

well honestly the parts you have if assembled correctly should be compatible but without really knowing if the cpu installation or anything else was done right it could be almost anything. might be worth taking it to a pc shop and see if they can spot anything obvious.
