Ram:

8gb 2400MHz

What i'm thinking of buying:

 

Motherboard:

ASUS ROG Strix B560-A Gaming WIFI

 

Ram:

Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3600MHz 32gb

 

Resolution:

I play with a 60Hz monitor

 

I also want the opportunity to upgrade my CPU and GPU in the future, i have been looking at the Inte lcore i7-11700k and i'm unable to use a wired internet connection.

 

I'm wondering if the components i listed are a good upgrade for me, and if i'm prioritising to upgrade the right parts.

First I would get more ram. 8gb is the bare minimum these days. 16gb of ram in dual channel even at the relatively low speeds of locked skylake at (I think they top out at 2400/2666mhz) would be a pretty big performance increase ram wise.

Note that until you have a newer platform the 3600mhz speed won’t be a thing.

 

tldr ram first, cpu and motherboard later
