I just recently got handed a ryzen 7 3700x and 16 gigs of RAM for free so I decided to build a system around that going with the HP pavilion gaming PC pre-built but bare Bones I picked the graphics card as the only minimum for the Verizon 3700x which was a G-Force GTX 1650 super used use the HDMI port looks a little funny but I it comes on spans fan spins well I'm just not getting any display I have a 320 gig hard drive from an old system and I've tried every HDMI port and VGA port the one with the two screws I'm not too sure what it's called that was on the motherboard but I have a feeling that they don't work especially when this CPU doesn't have any graphics on it but I can't even get into the BIOS I'm not getting no image if I could just be steered in the right direction the system itself came with a ryzen 5 5800 something if 5000 series I don't know that has anything to do with it and I don't know if my graphics card is crap I don't have another system to try this off all I have is a all-in-one which doesn't exactly take graphics cards

That HP pre-built is a very proprietary system. I can tell by looking at the odd shaped motherboard.

If it came with a Ryzen 5800, that's better than your 3700x, and you would have been better off not buying the pre-built in the first place.

Was the prebuilt system working before you swapped your own parts in?

No you don't understand I got the motherboard offline and all I have is the Ryzen 7 3700x I was giving it and the cheapest motherboard I could find was a pre-built so I've got the right motherboard by HP specs for this CPU but yet I'm not getting any video out of either the VGA or the HDMI on the motherboard I've got life but no video still I'm trying to figure it out
