my cousin have gt 1030 and when i connect it to my pc it doesnt work im using an active vga to dvi adapter and his other 1030 works but this 1 doesnt when i connect it to my mobo and connect the vga to mobo to use the onboard gpu of a8 6600k its blackscreen same as using the adapter to connect the vga to gpu do you think its because of the temps? or is it dead? because even if i connect the vga cable to mobo to use the igpu its still blackscreen if the 1030 is connected to mobo

Check the Bios / EFI for Auto-Switch Inputs. 

Often times the System completely disables iPGU as soon as it recognizes "any GPU" in the PCI-X Slots. 

Why use any adapters? Can't you check the GPU natively? 

Remove the card from the system, change the Bios/EFI to iGPU and insert the card. YOu might be able to detect it in there.

 

Without knowing anything about the 1030 in question it seems like a dead card without any outputs.

the igpu in bios is set to auto and ty for replying btw will try this later or tomorrow 🙂
