Laptop doesn't charge

Go to solution Solved by Jack Dvorak,

Most likely nothing you can do software wise, as it seems to be a physical hardware restriction.

So my friends laptop isn't charging, the charging pin that goes into the laptop broke. Now I do have an extra charger for another laptop, but it's 65w and when I plug it in the laptop goes "Please plug in 45w charger" and does not charge. I cannot buy anything rn for them (nor can they). The battery cannot be removed easily, the back panel will have to be opened which they can't do.

Is there anything in the BIOS or something that can changed to make it work temporarily until we can buy a new power brick.
