Dualshock 4 charging issues

The controller doesn't charge at all, if I keep it on the charger I'm able to turn it on and use it fine but it turns off after like 5 minutes or so and then I'd have to reconnect the charger and turn the controller on again, I tried using a different charger as well.

I tried opening it and putting in a full battery as well as replacing the charging board but neither seemed to fix anything at all.

I don't remember when or why this started to happen.
