Single White pixel on samsumg monitor

Go to solution Solved by CommanderAlex,

I think you did everything you can trying to bring that pixel back to life. This could be a dead pixel that is just bright/hot pixel.

I have a 3-year-old samsumg monitor full HD (s22e310) and there is a single white pixel right in the center of it, is it stuck or dead (i think dead pixels would be completely back).? Is there a way to make it unstuck or fix it? I tried running dead pixel fox for hours, applying pressure, waiting.. but it just wont go away.

i had others on the upper part of the screen, they disappeared after not using for a long time, but this one on the middle of the screen seems not to go away, so it might be a hot pixel then, because i thought pixels on lcd would display Red, green or blue colors. So how come is this thing white?. Is it some other color like blue that lost its colorfulness?

Dead pixels can be any color. It's just that a dead pixel can be a combination of all 3 sub-pixels: red, blue, green.
