Metal Detector

Anyone into the hobby and have the experience to point me in the right direction for a good unit to start out with?  Would like something that's not only good for coins and such but also for nugget hunting on my family's land in Colorado.  For budget I would like to keep it under a grand if possible for a complete package with headphones and a pinpointer.  Thanks in advance for any help and guidance.

I have a Garrett Ace 400 that is a good price point but more on the low end side in terms of features. https://treasuresinamerica.com/product/garrett-ace-400/ I use it to hunt at parks and at the beach for lost jewellery and coins.

 

For pinpointers - I don't think there is a huge difference among these. Again I have a Garrett that I am pretty happy with. https://treasuresinamerica.com/product/garrett-at-pro-pointer/

Thanks for the response.  I found a used Garrett GTI 2500 Pro with the wireless headphones for a great price and it should fit my needs just fine.
