Hi there!

I plan to upgrade my rig you see in my signature this year. I plan to change a lot of things, so I came here to gather your ideas and recommendations. 3 most important points I made for this are new design, overclockability and 4K capability.

I'll start with the design part. I don't really like how my PC looks like now, and I blame the case and the motherboard for this. Too much red and plastic, doesn't tickle my fancy. Also I'm a bit upset from the lack of filters in the case. I wouldn't care that much to change it if I didn't know somebody who actually likes it and could buy the stuff off from me. In that case, I'd buy the 450D from Corsair and the Z87 Sabertooth. I consider this rig as my inspiration (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/12550-my-r4/), I'd love to see a similar dark theme and minimalistic design in my PC too.

Now onto overclocking. My i5 is a pretty good overclocker, it just gets a bit hotter than average in the proccess, so I need a nice AIO to use it to it's full potential. But as every 240mm AIO costs above €100 here, with the good ones like the H220 around €125, I tought I could just pay up a little and get the H320 for €145 for ultimate performance. With that I'd also get some fans, 3 with high SP for the rad, 1 120mm as rear exhaust and 2 120/140mm as front intake, this is what I'm not very experienced in, so you could recommend some.

Up to the last and most important thing, 4K. I hope to get a 4K screen around the end of the year, but I obviously can't run it with a 660. I'm going to wait for the 800 series with my upgrade, as the current gen doesn't really have anything to give me now.

I'm also getting a new mouse and keyboard, as what I have now is slowly dying after 4 years of loyal service, I plan to replace them with the Ducky Shine 3 and Mionix Avior 7000.

So, what are your toughts on this?

4K capability wont be around any time yet and the 800 series still wont be up to the task (if you are talking about a one GPU solution) You are going to need to be spending a lot and either SLI/CrossfireXing some GPU's. If you are wanting to ultra spec games at that res. As for maximum overclockability sure you could spent lots on a LC loop and things but if the CPU you buy is not a good OC'er then you will be stuck with it :P.

Mouse is optical so spot on there  ;)

Well a 780ti can handle Metro Last Ligth in 4k with 28 fps.
