Basicly my old parts with a cousins parts so it's basicly just a game/media server in my living room instead of my loft.

Currently thinking of placing the pc in the living room corner on my TV table to the left and just letting it stay there as a pc with big storage for backups and a simple windows 10 game server.

I know this should be enough, but is there something I can improve on to make it use less resources?

Or maybe Linux is the way to go for this kind of server thing🤔

Current specs:

Case: FractalDesign R6 Silent/Dampening

Powersupply: FractalDesign Integra M 750w Bronze

Motherboard: Asus rog strix B350-F

Processor: Amd ryzen 7 1700

Processor-cooler: AMD Wraith Max (Bigger than my old stealth stock cooler.)

Graphics card: Rx 560 (will downgrade)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance lpx 4x4GB 2666Mhz

M.2: Intel 660p 256Gb

SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 250Gb

HDD1: Seagate Constellation 2Tb

HDD2: Western Digital WD20ERX 2Tb

Fans: 3x FractalDesign GP-14 (2x front & 1x back)

And yes, I've removed the beauty wall because it was excessive metal and now it's somewhere on my loft or vanished.. Ugly yes.

The disks/the one ssd just lays on top of each other in the front bottom there with a fan blowing on them.. Might as well give them cooling while I have 2 fans?

And yeah, the cables does not make it look prettier haha😅

Its all going to be closed off so it's not that of a priority to ziptie them.

All tho I will need to find the beauty wall again so the disks have proper placement in the case.
