So... I need a Server... One that can do multiple things... Heres the parts list... Open to suggestions

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FKTs68

The goal of this server is to act as

1. An FTP Server (Hence the 10TB HDD)

2.A Factorio Server

3.A Minecraft Server

4.Occasional Video Rendering Server... (IDC how long it takes... Just dont want it hogging the GPU on my Main rig)

Would I be able to both Take advantage of the 12600k's efficiency cores with 4 different vm's or would virtualbox not be able to work like that

also I don't want to have to split up cores and ram to each vm. I would like them to share resources as they need them.

So that if I suddenly slam the Server with a large file transfer it will be able to use what resources it needs within reason of course... Dont want the Minecraft server to be bogged down with a file transfer.

So Should I just run it all in one instance of windows... or multiple vm's?

Many Thanks

Why do you have that much PSU if you’re running off the iGPU and don’t plan to put a video card in it?  Could get away with a 400w or less just fine.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

It's usually best to let the hypervisor handle resource allocation.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
