I'm having trouble with getting my monitor to pick up a signal from my pc. It's an old Windows machine that I am now running Ubuntu on. I left for college in the fall (it was working fine at the time), and the computer has been sitting in my room for a few months. It hasn't been plugged into anything. I have tried 2 different monitors with no success. I know the monitors aren't the problem because I plugged my laptop into them, and they worked. I have tried display port and VGA. The cable is the same one as I was using before. The computer is old, so the only other output is DVI, but I don't have one of those cables on hand at the moment.
