I have 2 last drivers to install and they have no .exe's, no application, no setup, no nothin to help me install them. one is the (in it's exact name) "mb_driver_intel_bootdisk_irst_64_7series" dirver and the other one is "mb_driver_marvell_sata_controller". How do I install them? BTW, the mobo is a Z77X-UD5H and the brand is gigabyte.

Thanks for any help!!!!

What OS are you running because when I go to the Gigabyte website and download those drivers for that motherboard they are .exe's.

Anyway, sometimes you will download drivers which are in a zip folder. For this you would extract the contents of the zip folder then go to device manager. In device manager right click on the driver you want to update, or right click on the unrecognised device which it is a driver for, and then click on Update Driver Software. Then click on Browse my computer for driver software and browse to where you extracted the contents of the zip. Press Next and it should then start to install the driver.

You need to install 7Zip (or Winrar?) and download the drivers frm the Gigabyte website. The file you download will appear to be a .exe, run this .exe and 7Zip will then extract the file to a location you choose. Then at the location where you chose to extract it to will be the installer for the driver.

Ah I see, when you extract the file for the sata controller driver that contains an installer. As for the other driver it is listed on the gigabyte website as a "Intel SATA Preinstall driver", the pre-installation part means that it is sometimes needs to be installed before you install your OS. However, as you have installed your OS already, you don't need to worry about installing it.
