Suddenly after some driver and bios updates, I've started to get very high cpu usage along with high gpu usage when I play games such as Valorant or any steam games.  It's not really affecting my gameplay but I'm a new pc builder so I'm hoping to get some more advice from some people who are more knowledgeable than me.  It could be the compatibility between the ryzen 5 5600x and the rtx 3060 ti but it was working fine when I first built it.  I also haven't overclocked anything.

I usually have discord and wallpaper engine running in the background most of the time but that's about it.  I also have two monitors, one displayport and the other vgi to hdmi port.

Note: It's not affecting my gameplay, I'm really just worried as I've put a lot of money towards this build and just want to make it last as long as it can.  I want to fix the potential bottleneck and high usage if I can.  GPU temperatures are between 50-high 60s which I think is normal under stress/gameplay)

Unfortunately nothing you've shown us so far indicates a problem at all. What would be beneficial, is a graph of CPU and GPU usage over time. That Task Manager shot is a snapshot in time and likely when you were alt-tabbed out of the game. Not to mention, 23% CPU usage is literally nothing.

Example. These are a few of the HWInfo graphs I have up at all times on one of my secondary displays. I can glance at it at any time and see my usage along with many other critical statistics. More importantly, I can see it over time so it can actually be useful for showing others.

p.s. uninstall wallpaper engine. waste of resources that does nothing useful when you actually have applications open.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

personally, I like wallpaper engine especially the way it looks with my dual monitors so I'm not willing to sacrifice it 😞.  Thanks for responding and helping me out!
