I for one recommend Antix, or MX Linux if you dont want to be affiliated with any political nonsense.

I will say this about Deepin though, they do have one good looking desktop environment.

Pop_OS is probably going to have better mileage if you're beginning with Linux. If you're a power user, any RPM-based distro would be your friend.
