Ctrl + D not working properly

Hi, my name is the PolishGuy

 

It might sound very weird but i've been having a lot of problems when i press my Ctrl and D at the same time, Not only does it not work but it also starts to lag my pc when i hold it in (in games).

I have checked if it could be my keyboard by pluging another one in but that still didin't work, i have also tried every single port on my pc and that also didin't work.

it has left me to think that it could be my MotherBoard, my question here is, has anyone dealt with the same problem and what can i do.

I am scared that i have f*cked my motherboard up by cleaning it with compressed air from a compressor.
