I have a pc with a 1070 Msi and intel i 5 8400k and nzxt z53 aio on a ASU’s prime z370p and I did have a Corsair rm550x but it’s blew a few days ago so I replaced it with a Corsair rm650x now when I power my pc it’s says cpu fan error so I loaded the bios and my cpu just get hotter it won’t cool and it’s only in the bios any advice guys ?

Cpu fan error means that low or no fan rpm is detected from the cpu_fan header. Check and make sure that something is plugged into that fan header and that the cooler pump and fan are spinning.

Your AIO is either:

A: not hooked up to your mobo properly, or

B: it died

EIther way, double-check your connections. If you don't find anything, try replacing your cooler with a cheap air cooler for testing.

If it died would my pump head still light up is light powered by the usb or the sata

The lights and motor are very likely electrically independent. If the motor burned up, or is seized, the lights would still function.

If you destroyed a PSU, there's no telling what other devices it took down with it.

No problem before the psu and it got to 75 in like a few mins so I turned it off

75c is fine for load and the system should shut down if temps are too high. What are load temps? I usually use a stress test like OCCT.

Not when before it never went pass 45 I mean just keeps going to 90 my pump rpm in 4600 can the pump still be dead

The pump probably isn't dead if it's spinning. Have you tried reseating the cooler? What's the thermal paste spread look like?

Fixed it and I was a stupid fix I just had to take the radiator out and put it bellow the pump and then above it and it started working if anyone else has same problem try this before you buy a new one I was about to then I tried this 😊
