Intel has a Screen tearing bug with the X Display Server, which is still default among most distros, other than that It will be no different than Windows. Both of the iGPU's available are supported by open-source drivers and the mesa stack. If I am however not mistaking, the AMD Vega Graphics on the Ryzen G chips tends to outperform the Intel iGPU.

In my opinion Intel, because new AMD processors comes without iGPU. And new intel processors are same price range as  AMD now and 20% faster.

( I have no clue what processor  generation you want and what is the best on linux, but make sense for me my optin)

No.

amd CPU’s do have a igpu, but only the ones denoted by a G.

the amd Igpus have much better proformance

for example, a 11900k igpu is about as powerful as a 50-80$ Athlon 3000g igpu.

the new amd apus are the 5700g and a 5600g. There is a apu with a faster igp and slower cpu, the 3400g

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)
