Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cod vanguard, warzone, minecraft, valorant, csgo, fortnite

 

Any suggestions for a pre-built pc with a 12900k, minimum 3060, and ddr5?

You can't find anything similar to that and when I last looked (about week ago) 1299K prebuilts was so overpriced, Buying that is throwing a lot of money in a trash... 

If I want I could make custom build suggestion.

For the games mentioned I would suggest the 12600K instead. You will still get a really good cpu and save $300 or so as well in the process.

DDR5 is pointless right now by the way. It's performance to price give a very low bang for buck.

I'm fairly sure DDR5 still performs worse than DDR4

 

until we get to DDR5-8000 CL30, which we're a decent bit away from

you also apparently need 32gb DIMMs to run in dual channel, so don't go for any 16gb sticks

Where have you read that ? Because that doesn't sound right at all. What would be the point of releasing 16GB dimms if you can't use them ?
