Docking Station

I'm looking for a docking station/splitter so I can use the peripherals and dual monitors that I purchased for my Desktop pc that I game with, on my Laptop that i use for school work. I need to exclusively use the laptop for school work because there are programs that i have to download from the schools servers. my laptop and my Desktop both have type c input so i was hoping to find something that has 2 DisplayPort inputs and at least 4 type a inputs and audio in/out and can run separate dedicated type c for the desktop and the laptop.

Your desktop very likely doesn't support video out over USB-C. I would suggest getting a KVM switch if this is definitely something you want to do.

Docking station is not very good for any gaming. You will loose power of the GPUs unless both have Thunderbolts. USB-C works for basic display functions, but not for any gaming.

 

You will need to look for KVM, or do another setup with USB hubs and multiple inputs for monitors.
