Not my first build but been a long time.

As the title says this has been a general workhorse for light gaming media server and general usage  for about 8 years with upgrades to my PSU and GPU  and hdd in the last 4 years.

16gb ram Kingston i think.

500gb Kingston sata SSD

seagate baracuda 5tb 

Wd Black 3tb

 

I am thinking of keeping the PSU, GPU and Storage for Now. 

 

im contemplating this as a potential build.

Why not the latest generation cpu?

 

For general gaming, I can't imagine 64GB of memory will be necessary. Even 32GB is close to overkill.
