Problems With Far Cry 3

I got a couple more monitors a few days ago and decided to try out surround on Far Cry 3 but I run into a problem where there would be a massive lag spike randomly during the game. My specs are in the signature. After I monitored my PC while I was playing, when I hit the lag spike the GPU usage would drop to 0% and the VRAM usage would drop and the system memory and pagefile would spike, but the VRAM wasn't full, I would only be using about 2.5GB out of the 3GB. I have already tried setting everything back to stock clocks and it did not fix the problem. And I messed with the settings and no matter what settings the spike occurs just as frequently. Any help would be great, thank you.

Well, is there any idea for what is causing it?

Its the game's fault. Its simply just a bad port (Again, im might be completely wrong)
