Windows 8.1 Update Feature Question

Go to solution Solved by macpro622776,

How do I use the modern UI apps on desktop? I thought they made it so that I can use modern UI apps in smaller windows rather than take up the whole screen.

Coming in a later update.

run windows update and make sure the newest Windows 8.1 update is selected

when it's done, the store will be pinned to the task bar(which can be changed) and any app you open will have an X and a minimize button as well.

That wasn't quite what I was looking for, I saw taht you could have modern UI app shortcuts on the desktop side now, but I wanted to use the apps in smaller windows, so I can have a email app open instead of using my browser.
