This is my first computer build and am just asking for some guidance in what I'm going to be using in parts. I am going to eventually be adding on to this build, but for now the following list is what I'm going to be using. I am also trying to stay within the price range of about $1,200 US.

This will be for gaming, recording, and editing of video. I already have my peripherals and monitor.

Processor: i5 4670k

Graphics Card: GTX 770

Physical Memory: Seagate 2TB Hybrid Drive

Power Supply: Corsair 850W Modular

Mother Board: ASUS Z87 Pro

RAM: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB

Please leave your opinions if I'm lacking in one area or anything else you deem fit.

Thanks for these suggestions. Pretty sure I'm going to use ilikemacandpc's build with a different motherboard and also does that PSU leave room for expansion on the system later on? For example a second graphics card?

GeForce GTX 770 2x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700~800 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

Also for the money that ROG board I recommended would be a better buy IMO. But it will depend on what you use your computer for and what feature you will want to have.

I got a Z87 Sabertooth because I like the Look and the Dependability since ASUS's TUF line has a 5 YR Warrenty. About when this PC would probably need a rebuild.
