You could try reinstalling the drivers, but I suspect you need a new Wi-Fi adapter

Recently I have been trying to run Minecraft on an old computer of mine but once every 1 to 10 minutes it would completely drop. My old computer does not support 802.11ac so I tried using 2.4 GHz on my primary computer. The Wi-Fi continues to work on my primary computer when it drops. Why is this happening and what can I do to resolve this issue?
