I want to get my friend a laptop but I don't have much of a budget, I would love to stick to 500 cad but I can stretch it to 800 Canadian rubles if needed. I found some choices but I don't know if its actually a good deal.

Here's what I am looking for.
I am open to refurbished, if it means getting more bang for my buck that's actually preferable!
Performance > battery life > Build quality > Form Factor. As long as it isn't a brick form factor isn't really important to me.

Screen resolution would be nice to have at 1080 but if it isn't viable within the budget thats ok.

They usually only do school work and light gaming, if it's able to do something like Genshin Impact/Minecraft that's enough. Recommended specs would be nice to have but minimum specs are fine too.
An SSD instead of a hard drive would be nice but other than that nothing else!

I got this HP Laptop - 15t-dy200

i7-1165G7, Intel xe G7 graphics, 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM and a 256 GB nvme drive.

and this
MSI GF Series laptop
Intel i5 10th Gen 10500H ,GTX 1650 4 GB GDDR6, 8 GB DDR4 2666 and  256 GB PCIe SSD

Is there anything better?
