$1000 Aud

 Australia

It will be used for a variety of games including some of the Total War games, Civilisation games and of that genre, Cities: Skylines and similar games.

All PC parts needed but no peripherals needed, this is a first pc upgrading from a old laptop. For the resolution and refresh rate i do not care as anything would be a major step up from my current laptop as it is currently runs games like Cities: Skylines with a very small city (roughly 8000 people) at 10 fps.

Igpu build so yea youll have to stick with the igpu but overclocking the crap out of your rams and igpu will help, watch some tutorials on yt about igpu and ram ocing in ryzen

though i will add that these apus can acheive high fclk so aim for ~4000-4200mhz on your rams or however high your cpu or rams go till unstable, and also max volt for igpu is ~1.45 but over 1.35 is diminishing returns so stay around 1.35, should be enough for ~2400mhz igpu clock anyways

Not sure if you like rgb rams but i put it in cause it was not a bad value (10$ more than non rgb)

Are you actually reffering to the gaming x or are you reffering to the gaming (a dressed up s2h)?

For all i know the gaming x seems to be more or less a competitor to the b550a pro, also phantom gaming boards are on the really budget end so their vrms tend to suck ass, pro4 are also on the budget end but they do have decent enough vrms

the gaming X was throttling the CPU while running hotter than the pro-vdh and pro4.
