Help with 3080 FE

Is the 3080 FE default fan curve bad? The custom one I have done is too loud. Should I keep tinkering or just go with the default?

If you don't know what you want, just use the default fan curve. That's what it's made for.

 

I don't get it... You dont like your graphics card to be loud. So you changed the fan curve to make more noise than default?

Ive  had it at the custom curve for like 3 months so I just kind of forgot about it.

Make sure to keep your graphics card below 93 °C. That's the thermal limit.

So set the fan speed at 100 % at 85-90 °C.

 

If you want it so be quiet when you are just webbrowsing, make it flat for low temperatures and make fan speed increase fast from like 70 °C.

 

If you want it cool even at idle, increase the fan speed even for lower temps.

 

If you dont know what you want, just go back to default.
