Is my NVME SSD Running too hot for my laptop?

50c is well under were you'd need to start worrying. If you said 80c i'd be concerned.

I recently installed a new ssd in my Alienware 15 R2 Laptop. I moved the OEM one to the second m.2 slot and I put a new SK hynix Gold P31 nvme ssd in the primary slot.

When I go into CrystalDiskInfo it says that my new ssd (the SK hynix Gold P31 nvme) is running at 50 degrees C and my old one is running at 36 degrees C.

Is my new ssd running too hot for a laptop. Is there a possibility of damage?

Do I need to put on a heat shield, if so what is a good brand for laptop ssd heat shields?
