Good morning, LTT forum dwellers.  I have an issue with my memory and everyone here has been super helpful in the past, and thought I'd reach out for help again.  Whenever I try to enable DOCP for my memory, it causes it to power cycle.  It didn't used to do this and used to work just fine.  It started when I updated the bios on my motherboard back when Nvidia had rolled out resizable bar.  Ever since then, my computer always power cycles whenever I try to enable DOCP and I'm not sure what to do.  I even tried it again recently and still have had no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Relevant Specs, feel free to ask for more:

Ryzen 7 5800X

Asus B550F Gaming

GSkill Trident Z Neo 3800MHz CL14 8gbx4

Seasonic Focus 750W (pretty sure it's this, but could be 850W.  I'll check when I get home)

try manually doing the speeds.

Id have to guess DOCP sets 3800mhz, 14-14-14-32, 1.45v, may be wrong on timings

bassically, set the speed to 3600mhz, timings to 16-16-16-36, and voltage to 1.45v

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

So, I wasn't updated to the newest bios. I updated it and still isn't working.

After I updated my bios, I actually tried that by setting it to 3600, though I didn't adjust the voltage settings, and now it just won't post at all. I can't even get back into the bios.
