Help!

I recently got a job and saved up for 2 weeks and I want to buy a pc with my own money. But my father on the other hand is controlling what I spend my money on . He says that since I have a pc that is working fine I dont need a new one. Someone tell me how to respond to this. 
Current specs :

Intel core i5 3470

8gb ram 1333mhz 

crucial mx500 

gtx 1050ti

ok, this might not work, but ill try my best. you should say that your pc right now is too slow for school, work, etc and that this new pc is up to date and can get windows 11 (say it even if you dont want it) and say its a small investment for a way better experience

 

(also keep for 1050ti if it still works)
