You'll run into signal integrity issues before you get anywhere near the length needed to introduce appreciable latency. I believe the spec is 5 meters, but there are redriver cables that can go further.

well, electricity travels at the speed of light so....

considering you could notice a latency of 5ms, then:

bassically forever

thats a latency of efectivly 0.

remember, light can go 300million meters in a second, thatd be liie .000000001ms of latency (average game ping is like 50ms)

Based on the multiple posts you're making on this topic for various cable types, what are you trying to do? Put a PC some distance from your peripherals? 

 

Latency isn't going to be the problem you run into, its going to be total dropouts and unreliability. Even if something "works" it might randomly stop working at times.
