Hey just built a pc for my little brother but for some reason it's repenting turning off and on and doesn't boot into bios or OS

Just a note 2 days ago my little brother somehow got a small screw into the psu and toasted it. I have no idea if it ruined a part of not, this is trying with the new psu

If he got metal into the PSU and shorted it?  There's a very non-zero chance other parts in the PC were damaged as well.

You'll have to test very granularly to figure out what / if anything else is damaged.

Sadly I cant really, I have no extra parts for this. Also he did it twice so there's probly a chance. Second time I seen him do it and the psu started burning a Lil

Do you know the model of Mainboard it is or do you have access to instructions to see what LED is on ?

Maybe don't give him a pc if hes going to stick metal in it. 👍

From what I read it's just ambient led.

Its gigabyte h110m

Also It's my parents choice in the end I didn't want them going out and buying a useless 4k pc cuz ready pcs in my country are a rip off.

Other then that most parts are new idk if warranty covers this tho

ALSO I removed gpu one stick of ram and the storage just to see if it goes into bios and same thing continues off and on

Is there a GPU in the System ? if so have you tried removing it and booting with the integrated graphics (if it isnt an f-sku processor)

There was at the start. Tried getting single from gpu and nothing tried removing and using the Intel cpu to get single also nothing. At the end btw I'll just send it to a local shop I trust they got the parts to check, I've seen those cases quite a lot and it's just breaking your head over and over again to realize smth died
