Budget (including currency): 600 US dollars

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Steam, Oculus Quest 2 PC link

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have an MSI 2490-A Pro Mobo with an Itel i7 10700 processor with 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz with an EVGA 600B Power supply in an Antec P-180 case. My SSD is an Intel SSD DC S3510 1.2TB and an ROG Strix 1060 GPU. IS it worth putting in a 3070 GPU? Overall the existing performance is decent with zero crashes. Thanks

Depends on what you desire in your gaming experience & how determined you are to find a 3070. The performance jump would be quite massive any way you look at it, but finding a 3070 for $600 in the states right now is really only possible through stalking Best Buy and Micro Center + finding groups that track stocking patterns. Founders Edition and a few Gigabyte models (and potentially PNY) are the only 3070s I can think of that are being sold under $600 in any capacity right now.

CPU, ram, and PSU is good for the most part. I don't think there's really anything worth upgrading to over the 10700f right now. The PSU might need to be upgraded if you want to put in a 6800xt/3070ti or higher, but for the 3070 it should do fine.

It is really worth it to upgrade to a 3070 IF you can find it at 600$

in my country 1660 super costs about 400$ twice the msrp!!!

so wait if you don't find a 600$ 3070

but if you do find one at 600$

BUY IT FAST BEFORE OTHERS BUY IT!!!!!

Pls Mark a solution as a solution, would be really helpful.

BTW pls correct me, iam really stoobid at times.
