Linux Password Protected Folder

Hey all, was hoping someone could help me . 

I'm running Linux zorin 16 on a Hp stream, as there internal storage is so small and none up-gradable so I have a SD card Pluged in, On this SD card I have a Folder That I would Like to Password Protect. I have try looking for different application. For Linux on how I can do this And im getting no where . I would consider Using terminal but i dont really know where to start when it come this type of scenario.

Not familiar with your specific distro, but generally gocrpytfs is a good option.
There are gui options for it as well, an example of a gui would be sirikali.
