5600x, 2060, 3200Ram, 1000w evga g5 psu. New build.

Yesterday I downloaded warzone, and a new problem arose. I can’t get more than 10 mins into any game without my pc resetting (usually crashes during game splash screen). That is, it literally turns off and immediately on again. No blue screen. It just resets. Nothing particularly alarming happens.

Event viewer; Windows codes- Warning 10016 (DCOM) appears frequently but shows Error 41 (kernel power) at the time of reset. No bug codes are present for error 41. For application error logs, it shows an error (forgot the number atm) about game licenses. There are probably more but i am taking a break from metaphorically bashing my head into the wall.

There is no overheating, no dust build up. All wires are properly connected. I re-installed graphics drivers. I even wiped my drives and re installed windows, and it still happens. I did not install from usb, just the “reset this pc” through OS so maybe that is part of the continuing issue.

Never had this problem until i downloaded warzone and tried to play it.

Any ideas? I have probably left some of the steps i took out but i feel like I’ve literally tried everything short of replacing parts. And i have a hard time believing it’s the psu when it’s brand new, over specd and has been working fine for a month- in addition to the fact that there’s other weird error codes. Idk.

I had this problem and it turned out to be background programs. What background programs do you have running?

All I have installed now is steam and cyberpunk to test it out. So steam is running while launching the game. Anything else that’s running is just windows 10 doing it’s thing
