Well its been 6 months since i had trouble with my SSD OCZ Vector 128GB

Since 3 days ago i had problem.

1st day

First My gadget, Antivirus and severalll thing went wrong. My gadget didn't show up, Windows feature window is blank, and my avast won't start.

2nd day

Then I reinstall windows along with ubuntu (seperate drive).

My ubuntu is fine never had problem since . But the next day (I turn on the computer again) The same problem Happened again, this time my teamviewer give me pop up about failing to start. and my antivirus doesn't start again (can't be started).

3th day

So I REINSTALL windows again.

now it doesn't show me the boot screen (boot loader) i've configured it with easybcd before but somehow it decided it won't load it. So I pop my flashdisk and repair it. As soon as i choose repair my windows there's a pop up telling me that it detected problem with my windows startup thingy.

when i get into windows the avastUI.exe went missing, (ofc the avast didn't start).

*side note*:

2 out of 5 reboot my windows keep asking for disk checkup.

Help me guys Is there a problem with my SSD (I sent it for warranty 6 months ago because bios and stuff doesn't detect it) or just virus or faulty cable or what.

(I scanned all harddisk and flashdisk i have and it came clean).

Are you using the latest firmware for the SSD? If not update that!

OCZ hasn't been very famous for drive reliability, my Vertex 2 has failed twice before they made a stable firmware available to use. Vertex 3 was just as bad however Vertex 4 has improved lots on failure rates. Vector however I haven't used so I don't know how its failure rate is, my Vertex 4 has been doing just fine since purchase.

If updating firmware and reinstalling everything still fails then you might be out of luck bud. :(

I'll try updating the firmware. I'm pretty pissed with OCZ now hahaha.

Thankfully Samsung SSD is now available.
