Best Xbox Controller?

I have been doing research lately on investing in a better controller than my standard xbox one series x controller.

My research came down to 2, the Elite Series 2, the newer Scuff Instinct Pro.

Scuff instinct pro seems like a slightly modded series x controller for $200 still all made out of plastic

while the series x is more premium with it's built in battery and use of metals.

 

I just enjoy playing FPS games with a controller, but would like to cross the performance gap, the mouse-clicks of the instinct pro might help with that, but idk.

 

Anyone have experience with these 2?

 

And im wondering if microsoft will come out with a Elite Series 3 controller soon because the series 2 was released prior to the series x/s consoles...

I use razor wolferien ultimate love it.  Every other controller I have used wore out.

Some people say Scuff is good, while others think it's overpriced. They're technically modded controllers as you said. Some do look amazing though, I'm just not a fan of the price.

 

I recommend the Elite Series 1 or 2. Both are great controllers in my opinion. The Elite Series 1 lasts longer for most people, but the glued grips can come off after heavy usage. For the Series 2 the buttons can wear out faster and it can have stick drift quicker. Nonetheless both Elite controllers are great in my opinion.

I have most experience with Elite Series 1, which I already use for 3 years now and it's great!

 

Not sure if Xbox has planned for a Elite Series 3, but it could be possible. They might also have an Xbox Series S and X refresh next year or in 2023. So there is a possibility for a new Elite controller and other accessories.
