Help with my 3080!

Been playing apex legends for awhile now, capped my fps at 140 cuz of some screen tearing.

 

I think everytime it goes under 140fps it does not feel smooth, it feels rough when i move my camera around and try to aim.

 

I keep thinking something is wrong with my gpu, all i want is smooth gameplay on 1080p throughout all parts of apex legends. 

 

It's really not smooth. i've tried alot of things but still feels rough playing defo feels 80-90hz when looking in certain directions

Does your monitor support adaptive sync and do you have it enabled?

If it doesn't then check if v-sync is enabled in the options. I know this is going back a while now but I had a similar problem with Black Ops 3 and as soon as I enabled v-sync the rough motion and screen tearing disappeared.
