I had an issue for a while now and really need some help.

I have 16GB of ram and going into dxdiag it is registered as 16GB but when doing lite tasks such as web browsing my computer seems to be at around 90% memory used when it is actually less than 1GB.

This also affects performance.

Please help,

Thanks

Could you list the programs you usually leave open when this happens? It is possible that you may be running out of date software that may contain memory leaks.

And is the 10% left unallocated 'free' memory? Or free and standby?
