Nearby share might not be using WiFi for file transfer because of different speed bandwidths?

I tried sharing a movie from laptop to PC, the feature uses Bluetooth instead of WiFI (transfer speed is in KB's so obviously using bluetooth)

Laptop is connected to the 2.4Ghz Channel of my WiFi with 30 Mbps Speed, PC is connected to the Router via Ethernet Cable with 150 Mbps Speed. Is this the reason Nearby Share chooses bluetooth over Wifi?

Im trying to find a solution and learn more about this feature, its driving me nuts.

No, but why you have even paired laptop with desktop over BT? I see no reason since you can use LAN for file transfer (you could set up shared folder over LAN). And both have network on their own.
