Does windows 11 mess with current folder structure?

Hi all!

Just wondering if windows 11 does anything to my program files and folders? I'm thinking of downloading it for the new ui changes. 5600x with rx 6800xt is my setup fwiw. I play games and do vr, and saw the problems have been fixed. I just don't want to run in problems where I have to reinstall stuff, or my folders get messed up with like windows.old. Idk, any advice?

No.

You do get the Windows.old until you either use Disk Cleanup to remove older versions or wait the few days during which you can rollback.

Aah so there's only a windows.old for backup purposes. I remember from old days when I once upgraded a major version it literally put my whole pc in windows.old and started fresh, I wanted to avoid that now

It's only old version of system files, not "whole PC". Al the documents are untouched.
