MSA99X EVO CPU LED solid red

Recently I picked up a pc with an FX-8150 and MSA99X EVO mobo, when I turn the pc on all the fans spin up, the HDD spins up and the CPU LED is solid red. I never get any output to the display.

Here is what I have done so far as an attempt to fix this:

  • Replace PSU
  • Reinstall the CPU
  • Try different RAM
  • Try different GPU

Dose anyone know what other things I can try to fix this PC.

Works really well for me tbh, great for cleaning my mb when it gets dirty or malfunctions

Hi, I tried the ipa but it has not done anything, I have a AM3 CPU, do you know if this will work in my AM3 + mobo?

Well am3 cpus should be compatible with am3+ but im not well versed in these old amd platforms (cause bad value and they kinda suck balls xD) so wait for someone else to reply
