Just creating this thread here to see if any of you guys with the ltt spout lid are encountering the same thing.

If I drink from the lid, close it, then open it again later, there's a bit of a pool of water at the base of the lid almost like it's not properly keeping water in. Is this a common issue?

Happens to my non LTT waterbottle with a spout. If I leave it overnight and there was really cold water in it. There will be a pool of water on the top in the morning (or later in the day). Pretty sure that's just science...

potentially, but I dont think this is condensation related. Will test with room temp water instead.

I didn't say condensation. This is water that is pushed up from the spout. When I open it up, I can hear a sucking sound as though I am letting out a gas. So obviously in my scenario it has something to do with the pressure inside of the water bottle.

Same thing with my Coleman insulated bottle with a spout. I point it away from my after not touching it for a while.

I'll forget about it and grab for my waterbottle and splash... all over my desk. Funny thing is it doesn't happen all the time, but pretty sure it always happens if I leave ice cubes in it.
