Quadro 4000 vs RTX 3070 / Laptop

ISUther

Hello,

I am getting so confused with laptops.
I do a lot 3D and 3D scanning (using Leica RTC 360 and Simscan 0.020 mm accuracy scanner)
I was looking at
GIGABYTE Notebook|GIGABYTE|Aorus|17G XD|CPU i7-11800H|2300 MHz|17.3"|1920x1080|RAM 32GB|DDR4|3200 MHz|SSD 512GB|NVIDIA GeForce RTX3070 (Max-Q)|8GB|ENG|Windows 10 Home|Black / Grey|2.7 kg|AORUS17GXD
or

HP ZBOOK 17 G6 I7-9750H/32GB/512GB SSD 17,3 full hd ips Quadro RTX4000

I do not get why Quadro card almost or more expensive then RTX 3070 (laptop version) when RTX 3070 has better stats almost on everything and Quadro is way older GPU.

In a nutshell, reliability. I believe in most cases there are no differences hardware wise, but the drivers are different and some features that professionals require. Take a look at this article: What’s the Difference Between GeForce and Quadro Graphics Cards? | Engineering.com

EDIT: Sorry, I also believe that Quadros utilize ECC memory as well. But not sure if that is all Quadro models or not.
