PC restarts Without any errors

So I bought a Prebuild pc from a website similar to craigslist, the previous owner had it for about 9 months its brand new.

The specs

gigabyte z490 UD AC

CPU i7 10700K with deep cool AIO

GPU RTX 3080

PSU corsair RM750 W

RAM 32 GB 3200 MHz

The problem is when I am playing a game it restart it self with no BSOD no errors just a black screen then it reboots, for longer sessions of gaming 

CPU temps according to HWmonitor

Idle : 35c-40c not stable In game: 60c-77c not stable

GPU temps : Idle 60 - In game : 75-80

Tried multiple solutions like applying new thermal paste change the fans on the CPU cooler and tried to stress test RAM using memtest and the CPU using ADIA64 and the GPU using FurMark after 30 mins all came fine the, tried all the software solutions like, sleep options, auto restart, update all the drivers problem still insists.

Something tripping PSU protection is my guess.  3080 may be spiking too high for that 750w, not sure.

it is frustrating I don't wanna replace something and the problem still is there I highly doubt the mobo or the PSU

I would at least test another PSU.  Also, if the 3080 has an issue, then the PSU will trip but it won't be at fault.

 

For example, my previous 1080Ti had a voltage module go bad and it was doing as yours does.  I RMA's both the the GPU and PSU (insert EVGA-hatred here).  

 

I doubt you can just grab another 3080 to test but the manufacturer may have some way to test it before you send it in, call them?

Yeah, that just confirms that the PC lost power suddenly.  We know that, just need to figure out WHY.

Well the PSU is shutting off and back on, we see that from the error code and from visual observation.

What we do not know is WHY the PSU is shutting down.  Due to how a PSU works and is built, it can be affected by outside influences as well as defects in itself.

 

We need to figure out of the PSU is faulty or if something is forcing it to shut down.

 

It would be nice if the PSU had an error report to see what happened, but no

let me go through how it goes I fried up a game played for like almost 4 hours then sudden black screen all the led on the pc is off expect for the AIO pump led is on then it restart it self to is it a power cycle or something like that ?

That is exactly what mine did.   I couldn't force it to do it, it just happened randomly when playing a game.  I tried to narrow it down by going to certain areas, loading certain textures I thought were intense or where fps would dip... nope.

I may tomorrow buy a new PSU with Mobo and hopefully is not the GPU

Hope so too, as RMA process for a 3080 must suck right now.  Gigabyte had my 1080Ti turned around back to me within 2 weeks, so I didn't cry too hard.  

 

EVGA on the other hand... sent me no less than 4 used PSU's. 2 were CONFIRMED non-working by their CSR when I pushed them to explain why they wouldn't fire up.  Seems not only was their RMA dept not concerned with testing PSU's before they get sent out, they actually sent me KNOWN NON WORKING ones!
