Hi,

 

I have a GTX 1070 which is still worth the same as I paid for it 4 years ago and with the BF2042 just round the corner and I've just bought a 1440p monitor 160hz. 

 

I can get a 6600xt for £450 or a 6600xt for £720. Would the 6600xt cut it a 1440p high and tone some down ideally would like it near 100fps or would the 6700xt be better suited? 

 

Wouldn't usually like to buy one now but I can get nearly £300 for the 1070.

A friend of mine used a 2070S during open beta on 1440p and got about 60fps with medium settings. Unless there's a lot more optimization done, 6600XT will never do what you want and even the 6700XT is unlikely to do so at high settings.

it looks like you'd be getting a 30%-40% performance increase in Performance I'd say go for it.
