GPU fan question.

HesCalledTheStig

I decided to set a more aggressive fan curve on my RX570.  Normally, by default the fans never turn on until the card hits the mid 50's to 60's.  Now with the new fan curve, the fans are on most of the time.  Do I need to worry about the fans dying quicker and killing my card?  Probably a dumb question but, I cant afford another card at the current inflated prices, lol.

P.S.

Thanks to all that have taken the time to answer my many questions as of late.  I'm no PC expert and I'm learning a lot from everyone here!

The fans will die quicker but that doesnt mean it will kill the card, overheating protection is a thing (GPU throttles or shuts down) and fans are replaceable.

Totally agree, also worst case you just zip-tie some case fans to the card to keep it cool. Linus as literally down this before in a video, but can't remember which one.

Thanks for the answers.  I figured it wouldn't be much of an issue.  I mean, the fans on my old 750ti and 1060 ran constantly and they are still kicking.  I just prefer to ask rartrher than assume.  GPU prices are crazy right now so I'm erring on the side of caution.
