There are better value options out there but i think the platinum aios perform pretty well for their size

Inferior extremely overpriced trash, why the hell is 16gb ram going for that much when 32gb rgb kits like turbine rgb are like 120$

Overpriced Trash ssds, you could have gotten much faster gen4 ssds for the same price or cheaper like the sabrent rocket 4.0, z440, mp600 core, etc.

X570 is only useful if you run more than 1 gen4 ssd and/or run dual gpus, a decent b550 would be a better choice like the b550 tomahawk or carbon wifi

Never heard of this psu before so idk if its trash or good, maybe someone else can help with this

The worst parts of this build are the ssds, ram, mb, maybe even the psu aswell

Value wise 5/10 (eh), but it should work assuming the psu isnt a shoddy unit and just immedeatly blows up, btw wayyy overkill for gaming, this is more of a workstation that a gaming rig

i might be new to building pc but im not a stranger to doing a little hw.

Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB ($144.99 @ amazon)

you said i can get better for cheaper from turbine rgb which is true they are cheaper by half almost. but they cap out a 3200mhz where as the kit i bought goes to 4000mhz. could i have spent less and would 3200 mhz been enough? probably

Storage (M.2 NMVe):SAMSUNG (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe

you stated it was overpriced and there was better your right that there is better evo write speeds cap out 3300mb/s where as the sabrent rocket 4 plus NVMe caps 7000mb/s however  the sabrent was 30/40$ more. which if i was to buy only that part no biggy but i made a massive order for my parts.

now on to the mother board the only thing wrong with the motherboard is that that perhaps its over kill but i like overkill at times. i have an oppertunity to build a dream build and that starts with the motherboard i wont need a new one in a long long time. this was a preference choice

so back to the original question should i only install NVMe M.2 slot when installing os or should i install both M.2 and install to either.

Same speed, performance, endurance, etc. much cheaper. You certainly can use 32GB of RAM in this system.

Very overkill for this system, Especially because you don't have even one Gen 4 device...

In the end, You have a great system, But gotten suspicious PSU that can cause huge problems for you, As well as bad airflow case, That'll most likely cause thermal throttling, That's why you should ask before buying parts, Not after. So you could have saved a little money by choosing parts more wisely and gotten better PSU and Case to be safe...

I think u have mistake here, I haven't seen 970 Evo Plus SATA SSD, Isn't it same as second one?

Those are same drives, So no matter which one gets windows installed on it, Neither witch slot it'll be in.

No wonder why its sooo overpriced, but then again youll need to tune your rams cause 4000mhz is not likely to work out of the box, 3200mhz is adequate and you can oc to 3600 pretty easily on most rams anyways, pref ram speed is usually somewhere around 3800mhz for ryzen since most cpus cant do too high of an fclk

I was talking about the regular one that caps at 5000mb/s or not the z440 which also caps at 5000mb/s, 7000mb/s is overkill unless you have server like workloads that require regular transfer of massive files, 5000mb/s is adequate for futureproofing so thats what id reccomend since 7000mb/s is basically getting into 980 pro class of ssds

Yeaaa am4 is now a dead end platform so dont even bother with futureproofing the board, b550 gaming carbon wifi or tomahawk is what id reccomend here
